American Fork, Utah —If there is an earlier time in May that opens up at MJ Pianos, they will let me know.  If it remains on May 26, I will have an early May RECITAL in my home for those who can’t attend on May 26.

5 WAYS TO MEMORIZE:

  1. EARS remember the sounds to help you play correctly.
  2. FINGERS remember where to go (HLF) on the keyboard with consistent fingering SLOW & LOUD (in small sections).
  3. EYES remember notes, SCALES & CHORDS of the music on the printed page.
  4. VISUALIZATION of the BLACK & WHITE key patterns on the keyboard.
  5. BRAIN knows the THEORY Foundation: Form, Key & Modulations–Harmonic structure, Rhythm, Melodic motifs, Phrasing, Dynamics, etc.
